The portfolio consists of highly-rated, cumulative, redeemable, non-participating preference shares, which are underwritten or guaranteed by one of the A1+ rated banks or major life assurance houses. Participation in the fund is available to selected and invited groups of investors only, and requires a minimum investment of R1 million.
